Packing

Start by packing as light as possible.. and then still take half of that stuff out and only bring what is left. Literally almost every trip I have taken I find myself regretting bringing so much. I try to pack even lighter and lighter the next times and still..too much!  I am going to give you a packing list that in my opinion works for a 2 week trip or a 2 month trip.

First only pack for 2 weeks max. You can wash your clothes and re-wear clothes multiple days!! Here is my packing list: ALSO this is a list more for girls… sorry boys.

  • 4 short sleeve shirts
  • 2 long sleeve shirts
  • 1 vest
  • 3 pants (1 jeans, 1 black jean, 1 lulus)
  • 1-2 shorts
  • 1 or 2 sleep outfits (sweats and a t-shirt)
  • 1 weeks worth of socks and underwear
  • 1 cardigan (neutral color that works with all your shirts)
  • 1 lightweight rain jacket
  • 1 sweat shirt (warm)
  • 1 swim suit
  • 1 pair of running shoes
  • 1 pair of tevas (get them no matter how lame you think they are! They are so comfortable to walk in and nice when it is hot out so you don’t have to wear a lot of socks!)
  • Optional: nicer sandals or boots for going out however, my friends and I literally looked like dorks, we wore running shoes to bars, we didn’t care, packing lighter was more worth trying to look good.
  • 2 going out outfits (nice dinner, bars, clubs etc.) Try to bring one piece things so its easier to pack, dresses and rompers work great
  • make up bag
    • make up
    • mini shampoo
    • mini conditioner
    • deodorant
    • tooth brush
    • tooth paste
    • mouth wash
    • mini sunscreen
    • tums
    • Advil
    • medications
  • fast try towel
  • hair brush and hair ties
  • camera/go pro/ phone/ chargers
  • extra batteries and memory cards
  • outlet for the country you are going to
  • a note pad/ pen
  • copy of passport (super important in case you lose your passport)
  • babywipes (don’t always have the opportunity to shower every day)
  • optional: hat, scarf, ect. (depends how cold it is going to be where ever you are going)

Note this packing this is what I used when I went to Europe for 2 months in June and July, and I also used this for Chile in South America (just added a few warm jackets). And lastly I will be using this for Africa in March 2018. So I feel it is a pretty good diverse traveling packing list that you can add or subtract one or two things and make work somewhere else.
